How to Use Android Auto™ Wireless

If you are curious how to use Android Auto™ without USB, then you are one of many. Here are the directions on how to connect your android to your vehicle. If you’re sure that your car is compatible with Android Auto™, then you’ll need to have your bluetooth enabled in order to connect. Then you can:

Plug your USB cable into your vehicle’s USB port and plug the other end of the cable into your Android.

Your phone may be asking you to download the Android Auto™ app or update to the newest version of the app.

Then, you can just follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

It may take a few moments to start, and you may need to tap the android auto app on your car’s display in order to connect.

Go to the settings on your iOS device.

Go to ‘General’ in your settings.

Choose ‘CarPlay’

Make sure your Bluetooth® is on in order to connect to CarPlay.

With your infotainment screen on, and wireless CarPlay active/enabled, press and hold the voice button on your steering wheel or choose the option in your stereo’s menu to begin the wireless pairing process between your device and your infotainment system.
